What we did
We designed and delivered a £2.1m medical centre that brings together two GP practices, a pharmacy, and wider healthcare services within a single, efficient building. The scheme was carefully planned to optimise a tight site while allowing each practice to retain its own identity through zoned layouts. A modular design approach and inclusion of shell space ensure the facility can easily adapt to evolving service demands over time.
The Outcome
The completed centre provides a flexible, future-proofed healthcare environment that supports both collaboration and operational independence. Efficient use of space has enabled a wide range of services to be co-located, improving accessibility for patients. With a strong civic presence and a BREEAM “Very Good” rating, the development stands as a sustainable and adaptable model for primary care infrastructure.
