As providers of primary and urgent care ourselves, we fully understand the challenges and opportunities that healthcare estate brings. Our experience with space optimisation is key in enabling healthcare premises to have better patient/service user experience and staff wellbeing. We have first-hand experience with how patient intelligence data, technology, wellbeing and care can be used to enhance current premises.

Examples of innovative recommendations provided as part of our comprehensive outcome reports include the development of pan-PCN shared space for training and learning, the introduction of new spaces to support digital consultations, and the remodelling of services to support the effective use of space.

Our team work with you to develop understanding of your existing estates including community assets and potential new opportunities. Next we take the time to understand your existing services and your future growth plans as a PCN. Finally we overlay this information with space utilisation and estate analysis data to identify gaps. This all helps to inform the final comprehensive outcome report, providing recommendations for innovation and change.

Refurbishment

A recent study shows that only 50% of care estate is fit for purpose.

Are your premises in need of a freshen up? Are your spaces cramped? Do you have admin staff working out of meeting areas or consultation rooms? Wish you could relocate to new purpose-built premises but financial constraints make this impossible? Do your premises meet the current guidelines of high standards required?

Our dedicated premises development team have over 15 years’ experience in designing and developing high quality and sustainable medical premises. They will work with you to design a bespoke space which meets the needs of your patients and clinicians, now, and long in to the future by developing an adaptable, sustainable and resilient plan which will grow and evolve with your practice.

Smart estate management

The world is changing and the healthcare industry needs to embrace that change.

We have developed interactive fly-throughs of our buildings to help patients and their families navigate their way around, before attending their GP Surgery or service, in an effort to help them know what to expect and reduce anxiety.

Our team are now developing digitally enabled Facilities Management solutions which incorporate our 3D building walkthroughs and augmented reality, to help busy healthcare teams, enabling them to access information they need to manage their building safely.

Our tenants can also access bespoke web portals in order to proactively support their building maintenance and ongoing works.

We are excited to be at the forefront of digital access evolution, making things easier for your patients, your staff and you.

Space utilisation

In many care environments across the UK, space, or lack of, has always been a common problem. Our experience with space optimisation is key in enabling your premises to have a better patient or service user experience.

Using our expertise we will advise you on how your space can be re-designed and developed to manage better patient flow and staff wellbeing.
