We are continuing to make strong progress on the planned redevelopment of Rosedean House Surgery and remain fully committed to delivering a modern, high-quality healthcare facility for the community of Liskeard.
We are currently working closely with the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly ICB, the local authority and all key stakeholders on the final designs. We will incorporate feedback received during the pre-planning application and afterwards to improve accessibility, pedestrian flow, and integration with the wider public space and access for public transport.
Once the updated design is finalised, a full planning application will be submitted to the local planning authority. The statutory determination period is expected to take approximately 13 weeks from submission.
Subject to planning approval, we anticipate starting redevelopment in late spring or early summer 2026, with an estimated 12-month construction period. This would allow completion of the new Rosedean House Surgery premises by mid-2027.
We look forward to sharing the updated design images very soon, which will showcase the revised layout and improved access arrangements. The updated designs will be shared in the surgery and on this microsite, so do please keep an eye out for further information in the coming weeks.
